A proud Vietnamese Singaporean, with her Vietnamese roots and Singaporean values, she has been serving the vibrant heartland community with long-standing traditions passed from her parents and grandparents.
Diep is from a family that has been in the business of spreading joy with food since 1965. They started from humble beginnings with a food joint serving Vietnamese food in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) before she took it forward in 2005 when she moved to Singapore. Diep left a high-paying accountant job and that May, she started “VS Vietnamese Cuisine” at the National University of Singapore
The small cafe was a big gastronomical hit with students for 15 years. In May 2019, she went on to open VS Cafe at 332A Pasir Panjang Road to continue spreading her love for Vietnamese cuisine.
Diep is an exceptional chef and restauranteur who has mastered traditional Vietnamese cooking and mixes it with a modern touch, so that it provides a unique dining experience for her patrons. With her family background and experience, she also brings with her the expertise needed to run and manage a successful food business.
